My name is Erica Chai, also known as Cáca Milis (Irish for ‘Cake’) because of my love for cake and all things sweet. I am a foodographer, no surprise, combining my love for taking photographs and food. I specialize in taking pictures of desserts, as I find their colours more vibrant than other foods.
I have been taking pictures since I was first given a camera, the age of 7, and since then have learnt many tips and tricks to taking pictures of colourful, homemade foods. If I’m not taking a picture of food, then I’m eating it.
I started to photograph professionally at the age of 24, where I decided to purchase my own professional camera, lights, and reflectors. Over the years I compiled a portfolio for myself, and I wish to expand my portfolio by working for different clients in different places.
None of the images in the portfolio are for sale as they are images recently taken for other clients. If you would like to have images taken then you can contact me via social media, email, or visit me at my studio – Directions on the left.
Prices vary per client, depending on what is needed to be done. On average cost of €50 is charged.
